State lawmakers are planning on forming a committee to investigate the articles of impeachment brought against Gov. Robert Bentley. Ronda Robinson is live with updates at 7 a.m.

Some Birmingham residents were left scratching their heads after attempting to visit the new Rotary Trail over the weekend only to find out that the attraction isn't open yet. A ribbon cutting was held for the trail, but it won't be officially open until next month. 

A former Central High School is accused of touching female students inappropriately. Jarvis Lanier, 32, is facing five count of having sexual contact with a student under the age of 19. Five victims between the ages of 13 and 17 have been identified by police. Terri will tell you more about the case at 5:30 a.m.
