Good afternoon from the desk of Janet Hall. Here are the stories we’re working on for WBRC FOX6 News this evening.

Governor changes tone
Governor Robert Bentley is answering questions today concerning the scandal surrounding his administration and possible impeachment. He's not saying much but it's a far different tone than last week. That's when he absolutely refused to answer any questions. We'll take a closer look at that and have an update on the impeachment process at 5.

Northport Police look for shooter
Investigators are looking for a gunman who fired shots at two Northport police officers. It happened during a domestic violence call before dawn this morning. We'll have the latest on the search.

Mayor of Clay speaks out
The city of Clay's mayor is hoping the tragic shooting death of a mother of three will help save the lives of others. Police say the boyfriend of 38-year-old Jody Watson shot and killed her last week. We'll have more on what the city is doing to heal at 5.

Is the Rotary Trail open?
We've told you all about the grand opening of the new Rotary Trail in Birmingham but it turns out it's not really open. Some disappointed folks found out this weekend they couldn't walk on the Rotary Trail. We'll explain why it's not quite ready for prime time.

Those stories and more beginning at 5 p.m. on WBRC FOX6 News.
