Man accused of killing girlfriend in Clay

Deputies in Jefferson County say a man called 911 and said he had shot his girlfriend. They found the 38-year-old victim dead at a home on Yellowhammer Drive in Clay this afternoon. We are working now to get more information. We'll have that for you at 5 p.m.

Brighton Police need a ride

All of the patrol cars for the Brighton Police Department are broken down. Officers are using their own personal cars to respond to calls. It's an emergency situation and today the Jefferson County Commission is coming to the rescue. We'll tell you how.

American Idol Taylor Hicks

The 5th season winner of American Idol, Taylor Hicks, talked to us about his feelings as the show comes to an end tonight. He is in Los Angeles rehearsing today for his part in the Idol finale. You'll hear his thoughts tonight at 5 p.m.
