Good evening from the WBRC FOX6 Newsroom. This is Jonathan Hardison with a look at the stories we're following for you tonight:?

What does Donald Trump have to do with Nick Saban? I don’t know either, but apparently a graffiti artist decided to pair the two up by chalking Trump campaign slogans near the Saban statue outside Bryant-Denny Stadium. Tonight on WBRC FOX6 News at 9, our Josh Gauntt is live with what we know so far about when this happened, what the goal may be, and the search for the (so-far) anonymous artist.

Remember that town hall meeting a couple of weeks ago in Birmingham’s City Council chambers that many folks saw as a real low point in Birmingham politics? All of the name-calling and arguing over who wanted more power, who had the city’s best interest at heart, etc? We may be in for round two of that tonight because the issue that kick-started this controversy, the proposed revisions to the Mayor-Council Act, is up for a public hearing. Our Sherea Harris is live on WBRC FOX6 News at 10 with what she heard there, and if any of this changes state lawmakers’ minds.
