Tuscaloosa authorities ID suspect sought in apartment shooting

TUSCALOOSA, AL (WBRC) - Tuscaloosa authorities need your assistance to find the suspect in a midnight apartment shooting where one man was injured.

Officials say Letitius Demond Gray, 31, is wanted for attempted murder.

He is described as a black male, 5' 9" and 280 pounds. His last known address was Valley Hills in Northport. Anyone with information on his whereabouts should call 205-464-8690 or 205-349-2121.

Officers responded to a shooting call around Wednesday, March 30 at Creekwood Village Apartments in the 1700 block of 4th Avenue where a 27-year-old male victim was shot in the stomach inside a unit.

The victim was transported to DCH Hospital where he underwent surgery.

According to a witness, three black males entered the apartment and one of them shot the victim around midnight.

He is expected to recover.
