Former residents of Birmingham Trades Towers may be closer to collecting their possessions from the building after a court date Friday. Residents say they haven't been able to enter the building since it caught fire in October. Ronda Robinson will have more at 7 a.m.

Developing this morning, Egyptian officials are now saying that a man who hijacked an EgyptAir plane is most likely not a terrorist. Most of the passengers were released, but members of the crew and a few passengers still remain.  We will bring you more updates on this situation throughout Good Day Alabama.

The Tuscaloosa Metro Homicide Unit is still investigating a shooting that happened along the county line Monday afternoon. Investigators say the victim was shot near exit 100 of I-20/59 when he got out of his car and walked towards the suspect's vehicle.

A Walker County community is mourning four family members who were killed in a deadly wreck. A man, his wife, his mother-in-law and a cousin were killed in a head-on collision on Highway 18.
