Protestors will head to Montgomery this morning to lobby against proposed changes to the Mayor-Council Act. No bill has been introduced in the state legislature, but the city council has spoken out against it. Vanessa Araiza will have more this morning.

Tuscaloosa will use the Druid City Arts Festival as a testing ground for relaxing the city’s open container ordinance. During the event, the city will allow open container alcohol in an entertainment district

Also in Tuscaloosa, the city will offer signing bonuses to math and science teachers. Terri Brewer will be live with the story at 7:30 a.m.
