BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) - A 20-year journey comes to an end for one man that has impacted countless lives in Birmingham.
A celebration was held Saturday night in honor The Foundry Ministries co-founder Reverend Bill Heintz. He is stepping down as CEO of The Foundry and Micah Andrews will fill the position.
"It was my passion and purpose to help hurting people. You know, the foundry is where the lives are shaped by the hands of God. And it's just time for me to move over in the position and let Micah take the steering wheel. And let God take the Foundry where he wants it to be," Heintz said.
More than 300 guests attended a dinner honoring Heintz.
