FAIRFIELD, AL (WBRC) - Police are searching for a suspect in a shooting at a shopping center that injured a man and a 5-year-old boy.
An arrest warrant was issued, charging Christopher DeAntwon Davis with attempted murder after police say he shot a 21-year-old man and grazed the boy in the neck at Western Hills Mall on Friday.
Three others were also hurt.
Police believe that Davis may be on the west side of Birmingham.
Investigators believe that the 21-year-old was targeted following an altercation that happened earlier at the mall.
Police believe the suspect left the mall and returned with a gun. The 21-year-old is believed to have returned gunfire.
Chief Davis says a person separately showed up to the hospital with a non-life threatening gunshot wound. That person is a person of interest in this case.
Christopher Davis' bond is already set at $60,000.
Other charges are expected in connection with the shooting.
