Remembering Harper Lee, and Saban's 'Sweet 16' Habitat House

Remembering Harper Lee

Iconic author and Alabama native Harper Lee died this morning at the age of 89. We will be remembering the author of To Kill a Mockingbird in several stories today. At 5 p.m. we'll talk to one of her biographers.  At 5:30 p.m. we'll have a live report from Harper's hometown of Monroeville. At 6 p.m. we'll share thoughts from one of her many friends.

Sabans pay for 16th Habitat House

Crimson Tide Football Coach Nick Saban and his wife Terri presented a large check to Habitat Humanity today to pay for the 16th house built by Saban's charity since the April 27 tornado devastated Tuscaloosa. There is one house for every national championship. We'll take a look at the progress on the "Sweet 16" house.

Absolutely Alabama: The Bridal Therapist

Brides come from all over the world to Alabama to have a wedding dress made by Heidi Elnora. What's so special about her dresses? Fred Hunter will show us in tonight's "Absolutely Alabama" at 6 p.m.
