BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) - Hundreds of pregnant women are prescribed the drug, Zofran, a popular drug that has been around since the early 1990s when the FDA approved it to help cancer patients manage nausea.
Currently, there are nearly 220 lawsuits filed against the manufacturer of Zofran. Women from all over the country say the drug gave their babies birth defects.
