Happy Hump Day from the WBRC Newsroom! Jonathan Hardison here with a look at some of the stories we're working on for you tonight.

Picking up the pieces

Folks in Pickens County tonight are figuring out how to rebuild after the EF-2 tornado blew through last night, the very same funnel cloud you saw live on air and on our app during our storm coverage. Tonight Josh Gauntt is back in the Aliceville area to see how folks are cleaning up 24 hours after the storm and getting a better idea of just how long it will take to get that area back to normal.

Big step for UAB

Alabama and Auburn both ended up with top 10 recruiting classes today on National Signing Day, but the signing class that may be equally as impressive is the one put together by UAB coach Bill Clark who’s signed the highest-rated ever class for UAB, and the highest-rated class in all of Conference USA this year, and his team won’t even be on the field this fall! New for WBRC FOX6 News at 10 we’re talking to Coach Clark about how he pulled this off, and the excitement building on Southside.
