2 tornadoes confirmed in AL, Luke Bresette memorial plaque unveiled

Good afternoon from the desk of Janet Hall.  Here are the stories we’re working on for WBRC FOX6 News this evening.
Two tornadoes confirmed
We now know two tornadoes hit Alabama last night. Inspectors from the National Weather Service confirm an EF-2 hit Aliceville in Pickens County destroying at least 13 homes.  An EF-1 was confirmed in neighboring Pickens County. We'll have team coverage including a look a damage to the women's federal prison in Aliceville.
"Live like Luke"
A memorial plaque is now unveiled at the Birmingham-Shuttlesworth Airport in remembrance of 10-year-old Luke Bresette who was killed in 2013 when a huge flight display board fell on him. The plaque urges us all to live life to the fullest just the way Luke did. We'll hear from the family's attorney tonight at 5 p.m.
Kenny Stabler CTE
We now know the late Crimson Tide football star Kenny Stabler suffered from CTE, the brain disorder connected to repeated hits to the head. Dozens of football players have been  diagnosed with CTE based on autopsy results. We'll talk to a doctor about current research efforts to prevent and treat the debilitating disease.
Those stories and more beginning at 5 p.m. on WBRC FOX6 News.
