New this morning, an overhead internet sign is down on I-59 northbound near the Jaybird Road exit. The downed sign is blocking all lanes of traffic after it seems that an 18-wheeler crashed into it. Ronda Robinson will have more.
Georgia authorities released surveillance video of Missouri couple linked to robberies and kidnappings in Alabama and now sought in a kidnapping and a robbery at a Perry, Georgia gas station. The suspects, Blake Fitzgerald and Brittany Harper, are considered armed and dangerous.
Lawmakers are trying to figure out how to fund some government services, as a new legislative session begins in Alabama. The general fund is $42 million short. Some lawmakers are suggesting a state lottery or casinos to cover the shortfall.
