Residents in Pickens County are surveying damage after a tornado tracked across the area. A line of storms moved through west Alabama Tuesday afternoon. Heavy rain continues to affect central and east Alabama. Terri Brewer will have live updates from Pickens Co. starting at 5 a.m.

Several Alabama schools are delayed this morning. We'll keep you updated here and on-air throughout Good Day Alabama.

Also new this morning, an overhead internet sign is down on I-59 northbound near the Jaybird Road exit. The downed sign is blocking all lanes of traffic after it seems that an 18-wheeler crashed into it. Ronda Robinson will have more.
