Police still searching for MO couple wanted in 2 AL kidnappings and a robbery

Authorities are searching for a Missouri couple in connection with the kidnapping of two people in Alabama. Arrest warrants were issued for Blake Fitzgerald and Brittany Harper, both 31, in the kidnapping of a woman from her Vestavia Hills home and a night clerk from the Microtel Inn and Suites in Tuscaloosa. The suspects also tried to rob a McDonald's in Hoover. Terri Brewer and Clare Huddleston will bring you more live this morning.

Birmingham police released more information about two weekend homicides. Kendrick Smith, 27, was shot and killed Friday night in the 1700 block of Pearson Avenue Southwest. Jamie Moore was found shot to death in the stairwell of an apartment complex in the 900 block of 47th Street.
