What rights do you have when protecting yourself inside your home?
It's a question a lot of us are asking after a Center Point homeowner shot and killed a burglar yesterday, so tonight on WBRC FOX6 News at 9 p.m., our Sherea Harris is talking to prosecutors and defenders to give you practical guidance on what you're legally OK to do if you feel threatened in your home.
I've gotta tell you this story of the mixed-up suspect description in the Bessemer Milo's robbery has a lot of us scratching our heads. When the fast food joint was robbed almost two weeks ago at least half of the witnesses told police it was a white man who walked in with a gun and demanded money.
But Bessemer police this week arrested a black man they're certain was the actual robber. So how do you get that basic detail of skin color wrong? Our Lydia Hu tonight on WBRC FOX6 News at 10 p.m. is talking to a UAB professor who says that doesn't surprise him at all and he'll explain why.
