The Calhoun County chapter of the NAACP is calling a shooting in the area a hate crime, asking the Justice Department to investigate. Family members of Deatrice Barclay say he was shot multiple times in his front yard in Saks. An Anniston jailer and another man face murder charges.
Two Centreville cases of tuberculosis are connected to a Marion County outbreak, according to officials. There will be a meeting at the Bibb County High School gym to discuss the cases. Terri Brewer will bring you more.
