Classmates to hold vigil for slain classmate; Reports at 5 a.m.

Students at Clay Chalkville will honor the life of a fallen classmate today with a vigil. They will gather on the school's football field at 5:30 p.m. to remember Raven White, a pregnant 16-year-old who was shot and killed as she sat in a car last week.  Students described her as well-like and focused.

In Etowah County, a teacher is facing charges after authorities say she had sex with a student. Andrea Elliott Means was charged with one count of a school employee in a sex act or deviant sexual intercourse with a student under the age of 19. Means was release on a $10,000 bond after being booked in the Etowah County Jail.

Pres. Obama gave his last State of the Union address, calling for change and looking to the country's future. He listed his successes but also admitted that there's still work to do, even after he leaves office.
