Blue Bell finds traces of bacteria in production plant

(WBRC) - Blue Bell Ice Cream says it is looking into areas at its production facilities that may have bacteria present. However, they say that no products have tested positive for bacteria.

The company said on Facebook it has not confirmed this is Listeria. They also haven't said specifically which facilities this includes. The company has a plant in Sylacauga.

The company says it is finding areas where bacteria may be and cleaning everything. Blue Bell of course recalled all of its products last spring after finding listeria in ice cream containers.
