State is suing federal government
Governor Bentley says the state of Alabama is suing the federal government. The suit alleges that the government has failed to comply with the Refugee Act of 1980. The governor says the federal government has failed to consult the state on the placement of refugees. We'll have full details and reaction to this at 5 p.m.
Crash at the Carver Theatre
A bizarre traffic accident led an SUV to crash into the front door of the Carver Theatre in downtown Birmingham this morning. No one was hurt but the historic building took quite a hit. We'll take a closer look at the damage.
Father speaks of twins tragic deaths
We have been following the heartbreaking story of twin toddlers who died in a Walker County house fire earlier this week. Tonight we hear from the father, Darrin Williams, who tried to save them. Melanie Posey brings us the story at 5:30.
