Here's what you saw on Good Day Alabama:
JEH JEH LIVE - Jeh Jeh joined us from The Altamont School talking with the Boys Varsity Basketball team. The team has a record of 11-1 and ranked 8th in class 2A. But what is really impressive - the team members. Collectively, they have a 4.5 GPA. Jeh Jeh talks with members of the team as well as Athletic Director Barry Bearden and Head coach Terry Coner. They discuss how they do both academics and athletics with Jeh Jeh. The Altamont School is a coeducational, traditional college preparatory independent day school enrolling students in grades 5-12. Altamont is a small family with socio-economic, ethnic and religious diversity. And we offer many opportunities for children to develop multiple talents by participating in arts, foreign language, leadership programs, community service, clubs, class projects, science competitions and sports – all at the same time.

NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP TALK - Monday night's National Championship game will be a bit of family affair when Alabama takes on Clemson, led by former Alabama player and assistant coach, Dabo Swinney, who grew up in Pelham. Mike talked this morning with former Alabama Defensive Back Antonio Langham who played with Dabo at Bama and former Alabama QB Andrew Zow who played at Alabama when Dabo was the receivers coach. They offered insight into Dabo - his style as a player and a coach. They said, either way, it's a win-win for Alabama with this game.

He also shows us some other great indoor plants such as anthurium, fitonia, Rex begonia, club moss and fig. ASK THE DOCTOR - James L. Head, M.D. from Shelby Baptist Medical Center took viewer questions about urinary incontinence. Urogynecology is a subspecialty within Obstetrics and Gynecology that focuses on the disorders of the female pelvic floor. The most common cases of incontinence are caused from the pressure inside the bladder being greater than the pressure of the urethra, which carries urine out of the body. Regardless of the cause, most cases of urinary incontinence can be effectively treated. Once your doctor determines the cause of your pelvic-floor disorder, they may provide a variety of treatment options. You should be evaluated or referred to a urogynecologist when you have problems of urinary incontinence, emptying disorders, pelvic pain and sexual dysfunction.
