The Alabama EMA is asking for help from FEMA to help with the aftermath of holiday storms and flooding. Gov. Bentley said that without the government’s help, cleanup could take weeks.

An update out of Blount County, an escaped inmate was captured over the weekend. Authorities announced that murder suspect Justin MacNeill was found at his girlfriend’s apartment after escaping the county correctional facility.
