Police are investigating a possible shootout at a gas station on Arkadelphia Road. Clare will bring you the latest at 5 a.m.

An update out of Blount County, an escaped inmate was captured over the weekend. Authorities announced that murder suspect Justin MacNeill was found at his girlfriend's apartment after escaping the county correctional facility.

Police are looking to obtain surveillance video in two car break-ins in the parking lots of two Hoover hotels.  Children's Christmas presents were among the stolen items.
