DOJ investigates Blue Bell listeria outbreak, Birmingham Bowl brings in the bucks

Federal investigation of Blue Bell Creameries

The Department of Justice is now investigating the outbreak of listeria at Blue Bell Creameries earlier this year. It appears the investigation could focus on what the management knew about the problem and when they acted on it. The Blue Bell plant in Sylacauga is one of the places where listeria was found.

Birmingham Bowl brings economic impact

Despite the rain, thousands of fans packed Legion Field for today's Birmingham Bowl.  We'll look at the impact the big event is having on our local economy.

Birmingham Police Chief looks at stats

As we close out 2015 there are concerns about Birmingham's crime statistics. Crime was down overall this year but the homicide rate is up. We'll have reaction from Birmingham Police Chief A.C. Roper.
