Watching for bad weather

First tonight we’re doing our best to keep you as up-to-date as possible on the evolving severe weather threat for Wednesday, which J-P says is looking more significant by the hour. Homeowner shot

He came home to find a burglar in his house, tried to chase them, and ended up getting shot. That’s how Birmingham police are describing what happened to a Roebuck homeowner seriously injured in that situation. Our Lydia Hu is at police headquarters working her sources as the chase for the shooter heats up.
