Clare Huddleston is on the way to a shooting in Southwest Birmingham. Police say they found a body in a car at the corner of Princeton Avenue and 12th Street Southwest.
Police say they have made contact with a potential witness in a deadly robbery in Bessemer. Meanwhile, the search continues for the suspect who robbed the gas station and shot and killed the clerk, 27-year-old Trenton James Way, at the Kangaroo Express on 14th Street South. Police say the killer shot Way several times and got away with cash.
If you have a moment, check out the picture of a bank robbery suspect on our WBRC app and share it on your social media. Officers say he robbed the America's First Credit Union on Roebuck Parkway. Police say the man was armed with a gun and gave the teller a note telling her not to be a hero. He ran off from the rear of the bank to a church parking lot and got into a silver early 2000 model Cadillac with two other men. If you have any information, call police.
Ride-hailing Service Uber and Facebook are teaming up. Facebook says it is testing the ability for users to book rides with Uber through their messenger app. So, you won't have to go to the Uber app to get a ride. You will also have the option to pay for your Uber ride on Facebook.
As you know, Uber is already approved in Birmingham, Homewood, Mountain Brook, and Trussville
