New this morning, Bessemer police are investigating a deadly robbery at a Kangaroo gas station on Highway 150 and Fairfax Avenue. The police chief confirmed that a store clerk was killed and money and items were taken from the store.

A warrant has been issued for Councilman Marcus Lundy's arrest, according to Mayor William Bell's office. The warrant comes after a physical altercation between Bell and Lundy during Tuesday's council meeting. Lundy is expected to give a statement today regarding the incident.
