Good evening from the WBRC FOX6 Newsroom. This is Jonathan Hardison with a look at the stories we're following for you tonight.

Hazmat situation

BREAKING right now is this massive hazmat/traffic situation unfolding on I-20/59 near the Arkadelphia Road exit. An 18-wheeler carrying some potentially hazardous chemicals is leaking on the roadway right now and hazmat crews are working to stop and contain that leak. You can imagine the traffic nightmare that's causing with the interstate shut down in both directions. We have teams of reporters and photojournalists at the scene and we'll have live team coverage all night on our WBRC App, our Twitter and Facebook feeds, and all over our 90 minutes of news starting on WBRC FOX6 News at 9.
