Talladega Co. authorities investigate double homicide

Breaking this morning out of Talladega, authorities are investigating a double homicide in Alpine where a stepfather and a son were shot and killed in their driveway. 

The search for the man accused of robbing, kidnapping, and raping a woman in Tuscaloosa now over. Cedrick Collins turned himself in Monday morning to the Tuscaloosa Police Department. He’s being held on $120,000 bond.

Right now - Lauderdale County authorities are searching for an escaped inmate

And in Birmingham, the second arrest in a violent robbery in a Walmart parking lot. Tavalues Johnson, 22, faces second-degree robbery charges after police say he and another 22-year-old robbed and dragged a woman in broad daylight at the Montclair Road Walmart.
