Man killed in trailer park
Forty-one-year-old Jose Alfredo Leon was shot and killed at 3 a.m. in the Woodward Estates mobile home park where he lived. He drove a food truck and may have been targeted for robbery. Tonight friends and family will gather to support his wife and three children. We'll have a live report.
Pedestrian hit by car at UAB
A UAB employee is recovering after being hit by a car on 6th Avenue and 19th Street South early this morning. This is one of many similar accidents in and around the UAB campus. Why is it such a dangerous area for people to walk? What should drivers be doing to avoid pedestrians? We'll have some safety advice.
Teen accused of rape turns self in
Cedrick Lemar Collins, 17, turned himself in to Tuscaloosa Police in connection with the rape and kidnapping of a woman from University Mall last Friday. Collins is accused of getting in her car and forcing her to drive to another location where she was sexually assaulted. He is now in custody and being questioned by detectives.
