Jeh Jeh's Game of the Week: Leeds beats Munford to advance to 4A title game

LEEDS, AL (WBRC) - It's a place that is all too familiar for Leeds fans.

Head coach Keith Etheridge and his staff are taking another road trip, this time to Tuscaloosa to defend its Class 4A state title once again.

The Greenwave beat the Munford Lions 48-20 Friday night.

Leeds running back Tre' Nation scored every touchdown for the Greenwave. His first was a five-yarder in the first quarter. His second was a 19-yard touchdown on the next possession.

He ended up with seven trips to the end zone.

The defense was also solid. Jaylen Washington intercepted Munford Quarterback Avery Harris' pass.

Leeds improves to 12-2 while Munford drops to 10-4 on the season.

"They have nothing to be sad about, they are a great team," Etheridge said about Munford.

Now the Greenwave will get the chance to take home another crown once they play Fayette in Tuscaloosa.
