Belgian native living in Birmingham won't let terror threat stop her from traveling

Good evening from the WBRC FOX6 Newsroom. This is Jonathan Hardison with a look at the stories we're following for you tonight.

Terror Alert

She lives in Birmingham, but her heart and her concern tonight are in her home of Belgium, where the capital, Brussels, is basically on lockdown for the next week with that police are calling "an imminent terror threat." Tonight on WBRC FOX6 News at 9 Vanessa Araiza is talking to a woman who says she’s still planning to go home to Belgium for Christmas.

He was just 16-years-old, gunned down in a front yard, and tonight new on WBRC FOX6 News at 10 our John Huddleston is at a vigil where the Birmingham teen’s dad is begging for an end to the wave of violence that’s swept Birmingham in the last month.
