Good evening from the WBRC FOX6 Newsroom. This is Jonathan Hardison with a look at the stories we're following for you tonight.
Technology and terrorism
When I first saw the stories coming from Paris that some of these terrorists were communicating with each other using PlayStations I had never thought of gaming systems as potential tools for terror. So tonight on WBRC FOX6 News at 9 Josh Gauntt is digging into how some of these technologies are being corrupted to help aid terror plots and how big of a danger this poses stateside.
Talk about timing. We covered live the press conference by Birmingham City Council President Johnathan Austin and others on the "all-out war on crime," and not even an hour later we were sending Vanessa Araiza to the scene of what is the latest homicide for the city. So how do you reconcile one scene with the other? We’re trying to give some perspective new tonight on WBRC FOX6 News at 10.
