Authorities identify women killed in Cherokee County triple homicide

Triple homicide in Cherokee County

Three women were shot to death near Round Mountain in Cherokee County Monday morning. The suspect, Donnie Lee Abernathy, is under arrest. Police believe he murdered the women then kidnapped a fourth woman. They say he led police on a chase that ended with Abernathy wrecking his vehicle. We'll have the latest on the investigation at 5.

Governor says "no" to refugees

Governor Robert Bentley says the state of Alabama will not accept refugees from Syria. He is joined by many southeastern governors who say they do not trust federal screening to catch terrorists who might disguise themselves as refugees. We'll have reaction at 5.
Condoleezza Rice in Birmingham

Former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice is in Birmingham today. We'll have her reaction to the terrorist attacks in Paris and what she says about refugees coming to the United States.
