Jaedionne or JJ, was born in June 1999. JJ attends a public school. There he is in a self-contained class where he receives special education services. JJ loves to go to school and gets along well with his peers most of the time. He has worked very hard in school and has made much progress.
JJ enjoys praise along with lots of hugs and kisses. He is a very loving and affectionate child. He enjoys playing with motorcycles and trucks and riding his bike outside. Although Jaedionne plays well with others, he does especially well by himself.
JJ likes to demonstrate his independence by doing everyday things like dressing himself and making his own snacks. He works on self-help skills daily at both school and home. His speech has improved this year. In certain situations, he understands the difference between right and wrong. He can be stubborn at times and functions best when he receives structure and consistency.
JJ needs a family that understands and can help him through his stubborn times. He has so much love to give and deserves a special family who will open their hearts to him. Due to JJ’s special needs, it is unlikely that he will be able to function independently as an adult. His family would need to be committed to care for him for the long term.
