UAB football takes a big step forward

Good afternoon from the desk of Janet Hall. Here are the stories we're working on for WBRC FOX6 News this evening.
Huge news for UAB

It's being called a new day for UAB football. Today the University of Alabama System Board of Trustees cleared the way for UAB to use bonds to build a $12 million football facility. Coach Bill Clark and others are elated. We'll have their reaction at 5.
Missing boy releases statement

Julian Hernandez says he just wants to be a normal kid but that may not be easy after finding out his true identity and that he was reported missing 13 years ago. We'll have all of today's developments on this young man who was abducted from Vestavia Hills when he was 5-years-old.
Trades Towers bed bugs

There's more to clean up after the Building Trades Towers fire than smoke and water damage after an October 26 fire. We'll have the latest on a bed bug infestation that could cause further problems.

Those stories and more beginning at 5 p.m. on WBRC FOX6 News.
