Kidnapped woman tells police she shot abductor

Jefferson County officials say a woman admitted to killing the man who allegedly kidnapped and attacked her.   We are working to get more information for you.

Alabama is in the Top 4 of the first College Football Playoff rankings of 2015.  Lars Anderson of Bleacher Report will join us this morning to break it down.

The rain is ending for now.  But Mickey will tell you what to expect this morning and throughout your day.

An animal cruelty investigation starting in West Alabama.   A video shows a University of Alabama student holding down a cat before beating it.

It now looks like contaminated produce may be the cause of that E. coli outbreak in the Northwest.  The 37 people who got sick, are all linked to Chipotle Mexican Grill
