Good morning! Here are some of the stories we are working on for you this morning on Good Day Alabama:

Breaking news out of Fairfield, a Miles College student was shot and killed at an on campus apartment. WBRC is working to get more information.

It's still raining this morning in parts of the viewing area.  Mickey will tell you how much rain to expect today and we'll let you know about any traffic issues.

New this morning, two suspects are in custody after a police chase that started on I-20/59 in Bessemer, traveled to Tuscaloosa County and then back to Jefferson County.

Police are looking for two suspects who robbed the BB&T bank in Forestdale about 12:45 yesterday afternoon.

Breaking overnight, The University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio was on lockdown and the campus was searched after a "second' report of an armed individual on campus.

Today, lawmakers are expected to vote on a new budget deal.  Conservatives in the House admit they don't have the power to stop a two-year budget deal between congressional leaders and President Obama.

A teacher in Hueytown has been arrested.  Hueytown Police Chief, Chuck Hagler, tells WBRC FOX6 that a warrant for Lisa Edmonson's arrest was issued late last week. Jail records show the special education teacher was charged with "aggravated child abuse" resulting in a "serious injury."

You'll hear from St. Clair County High School's principal who is now speaking after he saw a disturbing video of an attack inside his school.  It appeared to be the result of bullying.

Many of you may have a hard time waking up because you were up late watching the first game of the World Series last night! The Kansas City Royals now lead the series 1 and O after beating the New York Mets 5 to 4. It took them 14 innings - making it the longest opener in World Series history!Game two is tonight at 7 central right here on WBRC Fox6.
