Birmingham FD evacuates residents from senior living apartments

Seniors evacuated during fire

A fire at the Birmingham Building Trades Towers led to the evacuation of the entire apartment building which caters to senior citizens and disabled residents. We have a crew on the scene right now and will have the full story at 5.
 
School bus tragedy

A tragic day in Macon County where a 5-year-old boy was accidentally struck and killed by a school bus this morning. We’ll have the full story on this tragedy tonight at 5.
 
Magic City Classic parking

Tailgaters lined up before dawn this morning to get a good spot at Legion Field for this coming weekend’s Magic City Classic. We’ll show you how police hope this will help traffic on game day.
