Good afternoon from the desk of Janet Hall. Here are the stories we’re working on for WBRC FOX6 News this evening.
Pot plants hauled by helicopter
Cullman County authorities seized up to $5 million worth of marijuana in a remote part of the county today. The plants were spotted from the air and a helicopter was used to haul them away. Investigators say the pot farmers had apparently been living at the site in tents. We’ll have details on WBRC FOX6 News at 5.
Double homicide in a Birmingham park
Birmingham Police are working to find out who gunned down a man and a woman who were sitting in a car at Woodland Park early this morning. Police say the two were killed by multiple gunshots in what appears to be an ambush. We’ll have the full story at 5.
Haunted house safety
We love to go through professionally designed haunted houses for Halloween but before you go through one make sure it’s in line with state regulations. We’ll show you how those regulations can keep you and your family safe while you’re getting a fun scare.

Those stories and more beginning at 5 p.m. on WBRC FOX6 News.
