Woman camps on her lawn after fire destroys her house

Greetings from the WBRC FOX6 Newsroom! This is Jonathan Hardison with a look at the stories we're working on for you tonight.

In a tough spot

Her home was destroyed by fire last week and tonight, a Jasper woman is camped out on her front lawn in a tent because she doesn't have anywhere else to go. On WBRC FOX6 News at 9 our Josh Gauntt visits this woman to see how she's persevering and even hopeful in the face of what seems like a tough situation.

Looking for answers
And new only on WBRC FOX6 News at 10 our Sherea Harris is talking to the family of the 28-year-old security guard gunned down in his car while working to guard some new apartments Sunday night. The family tonight says they're mourning his loss, but also anxious because they still don't know why he was killed and police haven't made any arrests.
