Deadly wreck shuts down highway and an update on Carly's Law testing

Highway 82 in Coker closed

Northport police expect Highway 82 in Coker to be closed at least through the rest of today as crews continue clearing the scene of a crash that took one person's life. It happened at the intersection of Sam Sutton Road and Highway 82 West. We'll have the latest at 5. 
 
Dog shot with arrow

A dog in Etowah County was shot through the head with an arrow but survived. Now, investigators are working to find who did it and why. We'll have the latest on their efforts.
 
Update: Medical Marijuana Oil

The medical trial at UAB into medicinal marijuana oil is now in its sixth month. We'll take a look at the progress being made and share an update on the little girl who inspired "Carly's Law," which cleared the way for the testing in Alabama.
