Major drug ring busted

U.S. Attorney Joyce White Vance announced this afternoon that a joint task force of federal and local law enforcement agents has dismantled a multi-million drug ring in Jefferson County. Sixteen people were arrested early this morning. We’ll have the full story on WBRC FOX6 News at 5.
 
Slain security guard remembered

Birmingham Police are still looking for the killer who murdered 28-year-old Maurice Dukes. He’s the security guard who was found dead at the Woodlawn apartment complex he was hired to protect. Tonight we hear from his twin brother as the family asks the public to help bring the killer to justice.
 
New 911 center

Jefferson County unveiled a new 911 center today that consolidates emergency calls for 18 municipalities. We’ll show you how it works and how it should lead to quicker response times.
