BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) -

Good afternoon from the desk of Janet Hall. Here are the stories we’re working on for WBRC FOX6 News this evening:

Body found in pond

An elderly man’s body has been found in a car that apparently crashed into a pond at Bent Brook Golf Course in McCalla. We are working now to find out what happened. Police have not yet released the identity.

Drivers need patience on I-65

I-65 north of Birmingham will have some backups for the next week. There will be several single lane closures between Daniel Payne Drive and Walker’s Chapel Road. Work begins tonight and will run through next Thursday but it should only impact overnight traffic. The closures are timed to begin at 7:00 at night and end at 6:00 each morning.  This is all part of the work to complete the I-22 interchange. We’ll have a status report at 5:00.

Hillary Clinton comes to town

The democratic frontrunner in the presidential race will be in Birmingham tomorrow. Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will attend several events. We’ll have a rundown for you at 6:00.

Those stories and more beginning at 5:00 on FOX6 News.
