It’s an odd relationship that may make more sense the deeper into the issue you dive, but a clear pattern is emerging that as the number of mass shootings (and the coverage that goes with it) goes up, the calls for stricter gun control get louder, but the number of gun permits issued also skyrockets. How do you link these together and what does it tell us about the politics of this intense debate? Lyme disease concerns
There is growing concern tonight in seven Alabama counties including Jefferson, Shelby, Tuscaloosa, and Calhoun counties about the number of Lyme diseases cases hospitals are seeing. DCH in Tuscaloosa has treated 30 in the last year and new on WBRC FOX6 News at 10 Josh Gauntt is looking at what public health officials are now calling an endemic and how to make sure you’re not the next case.
