In Tuscaloosa, police are looking for suspects in two different robberies near the University of Alabama.

New information on the shooting involving a Talladega County Deputy.  We've learned the case has been handed over to the State Bureau of Investigation. The incident happened at 2 p.m. Saturday in the area of 400 west 8th street in the Sylacauga city limits. According to officials, a 23-year-old suspect was shot and killed by the deputy.

In News across Alabama, after hours of searching, rescue crews in Franklin County found the body of 49-year-old Teddy McCallister.  McCallister was last seen in his canoe Sunday morning at Cummings Creek off Bear Creek.

One man is dead and another in the hospital, after equipment malfunctioned at a fairground in Oklahoma. The two men were doing maintenance repairs on the "sky ride" when their equipment failed, leaving them hanging 9-feet above the ground by their harnesses.  The baskets they were in came crashing to the ground.

Miss Alabama finishes 4th in the Miss America pageant.  However, she created quite a social media stir after answering a question about Donald Trump.  We'll explain.

The latest college football polls are out and Alabama is still 2nd.  However, Auburn dropped to 15th in the Coaches Poll after escaping an upset bid by Jacksonville State.

In the NFL, a tough debut for Hueytown product, Jameis Winston.  He was 16-33 for 210-yards, 2-TD's but 2-interceptions.  Heisman Trophy winner, Marcus Mariota was 13-16 for 209-yards and 4-TD's.
