As lawmakers in Montgomery take another crack at filling our budget shortfall, a budget committee approved several revenue bills yesterday, including a cigarette tax increase.  We'll have details on the proposal.

New this morning, four people are recovering after a hanger collapse at Newark Liberty International Airport.

A second person has died after a reported nationwide salmonella outbreak.   Officials believe the outbreak is linked to tainted cucumbers sold by a California company.  US health officials reported 341 cases of Salmonella in 30 states yesterday.

Devastating flooding in Japan.  Right now, at least one person is reported missing.15 people have been injured.  Tokyo has been drenched by rain.

Tim Tebow is back with the SEC Network as a college football analyst after this latest foray into the NFL didn't work out.

Apple unveiled a new IPhone 6s and 6s Plus, featuring a 12-mega pixel camera and 3D Touch feature.
