Greetings from the WBRC FOX6 Newsroom. This is Jonathan Hardison with a look at some of the stories we're working on for you tonight.

Refugee crisis

How close to home is this Syrian refugee crisis hitting for you? Probably closer than you think. Tonight our Christy Hutchings is talking to a photographer from Syria who is a U.S. citizen now but who spends much of every day worrying about his mom and sister who are still in Syria and desperate to escape.

Family talks about their loss

And Hoover Police tonight are still trying to find a motive and figure out who shot and killed a Home Depot employee as he walked out of work early Saturday morning at the Highway 280 location. Tonight on WBRC FOX6 News at 10 Sherea Harris is talking to one of that victim’s family members about the shocking way he was killed and who they think may be responsible.
