New this morning, three people are recovering at UAB Hospital after they were injured during a police chase in Hokes Bluff.  A mother and her 2 daughters were airlifted to the hospital last night.  Police say a 17-year-old male suspect was fleeing police when he crashed into their vehicle

The man accused of ambushing and killing a sheriff's deputy in Texas is due in court today.  The sheriff is attributing the motive to the "Black Lives Matter" movement.

Also new this morning, we're learning more about the Birmingham teacher accused of stealing from a school.   FOX6 reached out to school officials to get more information about the arrest of Tabatha Lawson.  Lawson is accused of stealing 11 iPads and a 40-inch television from Jones Valley Middle School
